Unhappy Just Failed Smog 1994 Miata with e-manage Blue

Thanks everyone - found instructions on how to put a jumper on the harness to disconnect EMB.
I tried to connect the my laptop to the EMB using a Giff-Tech usb cable, but I don't have Giffs instruction on how to use the cable with the e-manage support tool. Got the e-manage software installed as well as Giff's USB drivers, but not sure of how to connect to the EMB.
Still, at least I know how to stop EMB overriding the ECU.

Then you need to first make sure the com port is assigned to something either 1 through 4, (software limitation in the greddy software).
Then you would hookup the emanage end, and see if the software will go online, and start communicating with the laptop. The ignition needs to be on for that part too.

One end of the USB is the emanage end, the other end is the laptop end. Don't bother with the emb end, just get it plugged to the laptop, and it should detect the new com port (drivers are installed)...
