Default Timeslip board

I was looking on another forum and saw they had a timeslip board, divided into the different engines (In our case NA6 NA8 NB). Thought it would be kinda cool to have on here, anyone else interested?

This is the thread that I got the idea from :
http://www.club3g.com/forum/drag-rac...aderboard.html

Even a dyno leaderboard would be cool..

A local forum I'm on has an actual vBulletin addon that does something similar.

Thats even better. I remember seeing that on probetalk now that you mention it. I doubt any of the mods/admin would want to install it though :(

The Wisconsin POC is pretty big so I still go on there all the time even though I don't own a PGT anymore.

Some sort of filter for BS might be a decent idea too.... as much as I love the 10,000 HP car running a .8 second quarter mile, or that amazing Saturn Vue doing a 1/4 in 2 seconds with 1hp and a 56 second 60' (did he get lost and come back?) they aren't particularly useful.

one board i used to be on required you to upload a scanned timeslip for your time to get posted.

I think he meant BS timeslips.

I still haven't heard back from Rick so I don't know if the application will be added.. but I could still make a list in a thread. I agree with requiring a pic of the timeslip, or at least marking whether or not it has a time slip verification. So it would be kinda like this: Anyone who wants their times posted emails the slip pic to me, then I would update the list with their slip. What do you guys think?

Ok i'm going to take a stab at making a thread with everyones latest times. If you want to have your best ET posted on it, email it (along with a pic of the slip if possible) to:

apexonyou@gmail.com

Also please note what year/engine you are running, along with anything that you want to add like track/ambient temps, tires, ect.

Once I get a few i'll start a thread in DIY/Dynos and Timesheets. Hope this works!

Don't forget, it's the middle of the winter and many tracks around the country have shut down for the season.

Also, many of us have taken the car down for the winter for upgrades.

This will get more exciting in the spring. I'll have times by then for sure. No one here is interested in my 14.2 @ 101 run on my untuned emanage setup.

Dude post that ****! Its faster than alot of cars. Anything under 15 in a Miata is always good.

Cool, I got it, I'll start the thread in a few minutes. I'm sure everyone will still post their own threads with their newest ET, but now we don't have to worry about the threads disappearing.

Also, if I get bored and catch any new ETs in a thread, I may add them to the list if no one minds. If I do, and for some reason you do not want to be on it, please let me know!

You should probably have the 1/8th mile as the primary list. A board as small as this one will have trouble filling up any ET list, but even moreso if 1/8th milers are not included, especially since miata drivers tend to dyno instead of drag for some reason. Not everybody can get to a 1/4 mile, but everyone that gets a 1/4 timeslip gets one for the 1/8th.
