That's nice!
Whats the difference between the green and yellow numbers? Are they corrected, or different boost numbers? (8 / 12 wild guess)
Curious, thanks. Never been to the dyno.

no afr's to post..... tail sniffed on the dyno, and the tuner says I'm conservative.... He told me the numbers, but they escape me since I don't have the printout for them.....
also.... there's more in it.... the fuel system isn't maxed out, and he said that he thinks he could do 300 at 16psi....
I'm not pushing it though.....
as for the turbo, you might not believe it.... but it's an ebay special 57 trim T3/T4....

wow, those are GREAT numbers for only 12psi. I really like the flat torque curve you have on that bad boy. I am very impressed with these ebay turbos now. A real Garrett 57 trim would most likely be almost identical. At 16psi you would make a lot more torque and 300whp is very doable on 16psi for you. I generally was gaining 10whp per pound of boost so if the same holds true for you then you would be right at 300+whp. My setup made a lot more midrange torque than yours did but I went so rich on the topend that I had some torque falloff up top.

torque does seem a bit low, on 12psi I was making 240ft/lb and 263whp. The reason why he is still making power at redline is because of how flat that torque curve is...I like my midrange torque but I wish I could hold my 270ft/lb all the way to 7000rpm. Im hoping the BEGI intake manifold will fix that to some degree.

yeah it sure is odd. I mean my car made 240ft/lb @ 5100rpm and then it just slowly tapers to about 205ft/lb by redline (12psi). On my 16psi pulls I peak @ 270ft/lb @ 5100 and then drop down to about 220ft/lb by redline. If I could hold like 250ft/lb to redline I would be making well over 300whp. I have a feeling that when airbrush goes for more boost that he will have a large amount of midrange torque followed by a slow taper to redline. Some of his torque holding power could be from the 99 head...but look at mark's dyno...he starts dropping torque like I do and hes got a 99 head too...so Im kinda perplexed.

that's 2 hours on the dyno.....
The tuner is really a subaru specialist.... so that could explain a bit about the tune as far as the flat tourque curve up top.
The car does pull much like my brothers supercharged RSX.... only with more power, and more lag... And nothing at all like previous turbo cars that I've driven....
braineak had the details right also... car is a 2000 with a stock motor, and the pulls were done on a Dynapack...
