Hit 122 on my first pass when everyone was complaining about the heat making them slow. Also finally stayed on the green side of the light, but clearly I am still a little scared of Roxanne during elimination. My friend Mark with the classic sport fury took me out with a damn good dial, I couldn't catch him.
Oh well, next week.
Saw this hideous minivan looking thing, it wasn't even that fast. Sorry if that's your new favorite vehicle.

Well, no trophy, but I got something better, paid! Yep, I'm a pro now
I've been trying to get one of these reaction time stickers for ever. They come in trip zip, .002, & .007, only .002 gets a $2 bill as well. Might not seem like much but these are a big deal at the drag strip, I got extra props for being in the manual tranny class, my lights are improving.

Ok, still hanging with Roxanne under pressure. This is the fastest challenger I have raced, when it's on the bottle anyway. He is my good friend and let me be in his winners circle photo.

Thanks! Some of the credit goes to fastivab6tg25mr and my friend Chris from the track for convincing me to heat up my conti ECS's. Some goes to my friend Vince (yes from the video) for convincing me to shift a little short in the small gears.

More importantly, I thought once you go into the 11's that you had tons more safety gear required on the car. So that is why you kept staying in the low 12's and don't run slicks and such.

I agree it is a big deal, been running funny names for my car and I am thinking about "On street tires" next week. I can go 11.50 but not 11.49, maybe once, otherwise I will need to spend as much on safety gear as I already have in my car. 4 tenths away is pretty close. On the other hand I can go 135 but not 135.1 and 13mph is a long way away. This also means that nothing can touch me on the street, except maybe Vlad's car. The car I raced with the 11 was a ZL1 Camero on factory tires, who knows tho since I red lit, he had already won before the 60' mark. He only dialed 12.3

Not sure I understand your question, I haven't been hitting my rev limiter. I really just got better grip so I could launch at a higher rpm. Maybe you mean about shifting short, then no just shifted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd around 6500 instead of 7 grand.
