As the title states, what is your favorite T3 flange turbo and why?
I’m currently running a T3/T4 with .63 turbine housing. This turbo is extremely temporary (it’s old) so In the interest of not changing my manifold and downpipe setup when I swap engines I want to see what T3 turbos y’all like and have had good experience with over the years and why. Could be China, could be Garrett, whatever!

Ball bearing core modified Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 T4. Although it is designated T4 - its actually in a T3 exhaust housing flange. Can have your choice of 48lb of 52lb compressor covers. I've seen 500whp recorded on these with a 48lb cover being pushed hard.
Its my favorite T3 flange turbo as they are a very well balanced unit front to back, are very robust and make monster HP and torque. Completely unsuitable for a miata as they would blow most things connected to them right through to the end of the driveline. Still my favorite that I have experience of on other platforms and a number of standard frame hybrid turbos for other platforms are based around the same sizings.
