it actually works quiet nice (grill). no airflow restriction because it has really large openings and very small mesh gauge. if i remove it, it exposes my intercooler to every cop around which is definitely not a good thing. with grill, it actually doesnt look that bad. AND, if i pop my headlights, it looks like my car is smiling ![](https://www.miataturbo.net/images/smilies/smile.gif)

that's what black spray paint is for....i suggest you log some boosted run with and without and see what the clt looks like.

You're looking at a gt28r or larger turbo. At 14psi, you are moving past this turbo's efficiency range. This past summer I dyno'ed my gt2554r and hit ~210hp at 11psi. I used FM's base Link maps and made minor adjustments. I'm pretty sure I could have it 230hp at 12-13psi if I knew what I was doing. Either way, any miata with 200+ hp is a blast to drive.
