So I built a sketchy $500 turbo miata, with one of those fleabay cast manifolds (can't really beat $150 for cast) or so I thought, but I can't get the top 2 nuts on, or the very middle bottom one. There's literally no space. Anyone have any ideas?? BTW try to contain yourselves from my horrifying Frankenstein mechanic work, this is a budget build

angle grinder + cheap wrench.

 

You could try a step down stud or a allen head bolt instead of the stock studs and nuts. Even a lower profile nut may do the trick.

That in conjuction with possibly grinding the manifold
