Default Turbo help

I am getting ready to throw my turbo on but I was told I need a divider for the manifold. Have you guys ever heard of that? I was under the impression that is what the waste gate is for.

If your turbo is a twin scroll unit, you will need a divided manifold.

Twin scrolls have will have two oblong holes at the turbine inlet flange (bolts up to exhaust mani) instead of one larger squarish one.

OP was like a friggin' Dynamics and Vibrations problem...I had to look at it sideways for 5 minutes before it started to make sense.

Hey man, don't ask the same question in 2 forums... that's bullshit that only clutters up the fourm and makes you look like a lame-*** NOOB.

And since your terminology might be screwed up, most modern downpipes have a small dividing flange where it bolts to the turbine housing that separates the exhaust gas between the turbine flow and the wastegate flow.
