time to rebuild my greddy turbo
so today i was working on the car and out of curiosity i checked the shaft play on the turbo and its moving side to side and in and out
So i think its time for a rebuild. Anyone know of a good rebuild kit or any advice?
thanks

I've seen affordable rebuild kits for the tdo4h-15g on ebay and I've heard of guys using them and not having any issues with quality. If you don't trust ebay, google "tdo4h 15g rebuild" - guess what the first result is? A miataturbo.net thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t14104/ where the same question is asked and there are plenty of answers.

dude i fried my greddy turbo too.
only problem is i also bought a ebay rebuild kit.
it was no good, the parts didnt fit well. i had to dremel down the parts but still didnt fit really well.
i called greddy for a rebuild kit, they said that they dont have one. you have to send it back to them to get it rebuilt, which is going to cost quite a bit.
now im back to stock in the meantime. HAHA

Mitsubishi Kits
Keep in mind that just because you have some play doesn't mean your turbo is broken and needs a rebuild. Does it make any noise? Is it actually making contact with the housing?

Before I went with the FM3 kit I had already sent my turbo out to have the 19t upgrade done. My price at the time for a service on the turbo, 19t upgrade, and polished compressor housing was something like $700 IIRC.
After much BS back and forth the turbo was sent back to me untouched and by that time I had already gone with the FM3. Rebuilds can probably be had for $350 or so from gpopshop.

Gpop did my T19 up grade and rebuild also a upgraded WG can that holds 14psi for $800,though it was a little steep but quality was good and turn around time was 2 weeks.
So far the T-19 has been un-impressive, dyno had proven only a no whp improvement @ same PSI.
The WG can was a great improvement.
I have a bunch of videos and dyno graph.....need to post that.
