starting to piece together my own kit
My brother gave me his t28 turbo that he was going to use for his 240sx that he sold recently, and i have some money to be coming in very soon. so i decided to step it up finally and source out parts for my own turbo kit. seeing this poor snail sitting on my floor, knowing what it could do is just really pushing me right now!!!
i'm going to build a megasquirt as well. i have enough electrical knowledge to do it, and i defintely think its something i could do seeing how many people have done it so far. but anyways, i got a few questions id like to ask about the whole setup.
what would be good things to upgrade? i'm thinking i may need some bigger injectors but i haven't the slightest idea on which size i should be looking for. i'm planning on running about 10-15 pounds. should i upgrade the fuel rail as well?
i know all the basics of going with a turbo i.e. intercooler and charge pipes, turbo mani, downpipe, engine management, bov, etc. but since this is a bigger turbo, i'm wondering if stock fuel system can handle it being tuned as well, i have no idea if i'm going to need a fpr or rrfpr, etc etc
im very new to turbos/boost and wouldn't know what to upgrade as far as all this ***** concerned. i tried searching but i don't really know what i'm looking for in the first place. can you guys help me out a little?

This is going to be good. OP, your only good option at this point is to PM a mod and beg them to close this thread, and then you should find the DIY Turbo FAQ and read it, and then start reading through build threads and active general threads and read until you're blue in the face. The questions you've asked are covered in FAQs and easy-to-find posts (hint: there is an entire section of useful threads you probably haven't seen) and the membership here is going to scalp you.
My suggestion - stop asking questions and start reading. You have access to some amazing information here if you're willing to spend the time with the material.

Somehow, so am I.
Other than this, after you run through injector sizing from the DIY FAQ, I suggest you go a little big on injectors. Like many on here, I ended up wanting more HP right away, so I will have to sell off my new-ish injectors to go with a bigger size.
