Shanghai S IC or Ebay DIY?
While I wait for my last package to come in from Begi.. I was thinking of either purchasing the Begi-S intercooler or DIY with some ebay parts. I'm planning on getting a intercooler from a member (Specs: 21x7x2.5) and using some ebay plumbing. What route would be money saving? I wouldn't mind getting the ebay plumbing http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-50-2-5-uni...e48efb&vxp=mtr.

Which part? The ultra-effing long hose clamp, or the barb to attach your idle air control valve??
I'd prefer to have the barb welded to the stainless/aluminum pipe myself, however the silicone hose tap is also available here:

You don't need to flare the pipes on the ends unless you're planning on faefloraing it and running ALL OF IT. Unflared pipes will easily hold 30+ psi.
As far as the little pipe for the idle valve goes.. you'll need to weld attachments for a temp sensor, and a bov on that metal pipe. Why not weld a little pipe on there for a hose attachment too?
Mines an NB so I don't have an idle valve attachment like you do but this is what i'm using. Simple all in one.

Really? Where could I purchase the whole thing? Pipping; hot & cold side, coupler with idle valve, etc.
