Default Recommendation for low boost on a boost ready car?

I’ve been contemplating throwing boost back into my car. I supercharged it in the past, and have been driving with an MSPNP and 550cc EV14 injectors for a while. My 1994 has 165 miles, 150-160 compression, ex-intake,the big mishimoto radiator, splittime’s old 3 puck clutch and light flywheel which iirc is good for 220ftlb, and other misc prep work done.

I believe the only parts I’m missing are the turbo manifold, turbo, turbo-back exhaust, waste gate, boost controller, oil lines, and air/intercooler pipes. I don’t have self-fab capabilities for exhaust or manifold, parts will all have to be compatible and ‘bolt-on’ unless I pay one of you guys to fab something.

What would the experts look for considering a few of you have gone through this process multiple times?

Hit the easy button. MK turbo is a straight bolt on.

I pieced together my own turbo setup. The Mk turbo option is easy, but I am not a big fan of the turbo offered with it. Personally, I chose to buy the Kraken manifold and downpipe and sourced everything else I wanted individually. I like the kraken setup because I can run my 2860 turbo on it now and down the road swap over the borg warner EFR and just redo the downpipe and be set.

If you can fab things like basic lines and an intercooler mount and such, I would say do a kraken setup.

If not, the only easy button truely no fab setup is an FM no electronics kit. The MK turbo setup still requires porting the wastegate.

for a mostly bolt on kit, with top of the line bits

Kraken manifold/dp
source T25/T28 turbo yourself. i recommend a GT2560R, its around $800 brand new. great for your stock bottom end motor.
Oil/water lines can be bought online or from FM
FM intercooler with silicone hoses.

Or communicate with MK Turbo regarding alternative turbos. He's known to be quite helpful.

You guys rock. I was following and checking out the MK turbo and left that out of my original post to avoid confirming my bias of it as one of the best options for my situation...wanted to see what else may be out there too. I’ll check out the Kraken parts also.

I can fab the lines, and I’ll just need to research what I’ll need for those. I don’t own a welder anymore though, and frankly sucked at fitting and welding thin walled tubes.

One of the guys on the forum is running over 300whp on the MK Turbo kit with the original Chinese whirlygig. And he's been doing it for awhile.
