Oil cooler on the cheap

Oil cooler on the cheap
i would really love to be able to bolt this very attractive piece of work onto my car,
However i am cheap, so as i claw threw my pile of saab parts i find a oil filter housing/thermostat for a 91-93 saab 2.3t.
and conviniently it looks as if it will bolt directly to the 2000 9-5 oil cooler i have aquired...... while the lines will have to be custom made to insure it is in a good position when mounted to the car, i can deal with that because it doesnt cost too much
the only question i have is how does the threaded fitting that the oil filter bolts too come off.... im afraid to grab it with a set of vise grips and start twisting for fear that i will destroy something that i shouldnt...

Racerparts wholesale has Aeroquip Socketless Hose for under $4.00 a foot. The socketless fittings are pretty cheap too. I would suggest jumping on this before they're gone.
