Default New with Turbo need help..

Ok I have a 1.6L 1992 mx5 NA with only exhaust upgraded (header, striaght pipe, then Tsudo N1 catback). Im planning to buy my buddys T25 ebay turbo but of coarse i need more that just that...I know the basics that i need (intercooler, turbo manifold..) but i would like a checklist of what all I need to buy including what I need to upgrade. I belive I will only be running 5-10 lbs. If anyone can create a list or point me in the direction of a list I would much apreciate it.

I'm getting the turbo for $100 and I'd like to stay around 1K but I'm still open for what needs to be done. I deff dont want the best of the best.

yeah chinacharger used i wouldnt give a 100$ for, if you want to stay around 1k, and your already using that turbo, just buy the rest of the ebay stuff, no worries just keep in mind, you will be redoing it later (sooner than later). im estimating my build to take over a year to piece together because i want to do it right the first time, take care of all the research and get the best parts. those ebay kits are hit or miss, plus you still have to do some type of ems (standalone or piggyB). or if you can do Fab work build your own stuff!

Just search the classifieds here and search for used QUALITY pieces on E-gay. If you search you can find quality pieces for cheep. For example i got got a brand new begi cast mannifold with ceramic coating on ebay for $240 shipped... and got a begi down pipe on here for 80$. Their are deals, you just have to be patient. You wont regret it.
Just my .02,
-Mike

Let me tell you, having built my first turbo Miata on an EXTREME budget (I'm talking less than 60ish% retail on mostly brand new things), I still ended up at around 1,800. It also burned oil and leaked from pretty much every possible location. Long story short, it can be done, but don't expect it to be very fast or reliable.
