I'll see what I can dig up for the hose routing on the next manifold. In the mean time, she'd sitting on top. I still have to finish welding the turbo flange and I haven't mounted the EWG yet. (But it's all planned and the piping is cut.) Here's the latest pic....

Or hack the current mixing manifold to create your own water by-pass:

Alex, do you have a few more photos of that turbo? From the looks of the compressor thats the identical turbo I started with, but my Turbine is a .63... Curious if its close to the same and what car it came from..

Oh yea. I had to whole turbo loose for that pic. It's clocked so to oil ports are vertical now. So, since you run this tubo, how much of a difference do the the 3" DP and exhaust make for you?

Schlitz can connector FTW! Use at least one license plate heat shield, a pony keg for water injection and for god's sake, figure out how to incorporate at least one part from an old washer/dryer or stove!
What the hell did I spend all that money with BEGI for?!? Love this build. Good luck.
Redneck-olishious.

It's a huge difference, I just installed the BEGi 2.75" downpipe this weekend (coming from a 2.5" that necked down to 2.25" at the cat). The 3" alone made a pretty good difference... but with the new downpipe it's just silly fast. Had to turn the boost controller down a lot though as I was hitting 17-18 psi on the 1st runs on the new downpipe.

I have no idea what mine came from. A friend worked at SAAB in 2000 and gave it to me because they were tossing it out. Had around 10,000 miles on it after Garrett rebuilt the unit, was removed from the car as a misdiagnosis. Its a .63 turbine with no wastegate and non-water cooled center. Swapped out the tiny compressor for a Turbonetics T04B-S3 acquired from a fellow member. No idea how well it'll work or not.

I think this unit was from an older Sabb 900. I'm not sure though. It did have an internal WG setup on it, but I sold it on eBay. I've been through a crap load of turbos just looking for pieces. I started with a Volvo unit, but that was a .63 turbine and a 45 trim compressor. Kept the compressor, sold the rest. Got a Volvo T04B, but the compressor back plate cracked. Still have the housing and the wheel, ditched the turbine. So all said and done, I'm going with the Saab unit for now, but have the other compressor is I can find a backing plate. And I still have a few turbine wheels and a few water cooled CHRAs around.... If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll thow some pieces in the classifieds. I think I have an extra Bosch BOV around too....
Thanks Arkmage. I think my DP flange is a 2.5" or 2.75". I'll step it up to 3" when the EWG is plumbed in. Guess I'll be shopping for a new cat and mufflers too....
I'll post a few pics of the inside of the IC pipes tomorrow....

Lastly, I heard that Schlitz was coming back again after the original people sold out and the new owners f'd up the formula. Now they bought it back and are bringing it back better than ever..
