I had originally planned on 3 of the H style cuts (as i photoshopped in the old thread)
But we are thinking maybe just one single big H... that is exactly the width of the intercooler... so that we can add metal to the sides of it and handle some ducting while reinforcing....

Difuser is an old STR product. Was mostly marketed to honda crowd. It's basically a trim piece... I got it in a trade... otherwise you'd just see holes
The tubing is 1.5" .083... its strong stuff. That front end is more solid than it ever ever was before. Took before and after measurements to ensure straightness... all good
Garage and tools are not mine sadly... but having great buddies helps. We are looking forward to getting it all done... its alot to do.
Jeremy is the fabricator (you see him in a few pictures). He's barely out of highschool and his skills amaze. Each project he takes on just gets better. His brother and I like pushing the projects too . Heck... you should see the fab work he does on Maximas...

It'll get hoodpinned and then should be fine once my stuff is done with it.
If used as is... i doubt it would survive up front. I left pretty much no skeleton up there

Intake runners... he will build his intake manifold around those.
EDIT: https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/sh...?t=4127&page=3
He has pictures of a Honda manifold fabricated this way in the link.
