Did the machine shop actually measure it? Which surface leaks?

How in the world is it that bad after just resurfacing? did you check it for flatness before the install? how tight are you tightening the nuts?

Went back to resurface... I'll try to get gaskets for it.

What? No. You don't need gaskets. You need a proper surface and a light coat of grease. And check to see how flat it is when they resurface it again. I want to see.

Well, then it just needs some JB Weld or gorilla glue.

Looks better does not sound good. Show a pic of how you checked and what the measurement was.

Get a new feeler gauge set. You need to be checking flatness before assembly. Straight edge over the top then feeler gauge under to check gap. Should be less than .005.

He has a turbo like my old one. Its a weird Saab T3 flange. You have to mill off the weird flange, and then you are left with a normal t3 bolt pattern.

That being said, something obviously isn't straight.

Good idea to start with, but if I'll do it now, it will not align with the dp...

Big crack on the wg btw.

Got it to a machine shop - He did a great job, but after all the machining the turbine housing would not align with the down pipe...
I released the downpipe support (from the transmission) and now it is all good - only need to redo the downpipe support bracket.

Took about one month and a lot of work - did not take it for a drive yet - only tested at idle - no leaks!
