Default Keeping the Head Down

It’s been quite a while since I’ve last posted.

So after about 3 years on my built 1.8 I decided to turn my boost up from 28’ish psi to 33’ish psi. After a few races/pulls at the 30+psi range coolant was pushing from the reservoir. (only around 30psi)

I’m going to pull the engine for some upgrades to help prevent this from happening. I have a few options I’ll be going with.

However, I’m interested to see how the high power guys/gals are keeping their heads nice and sealed.

I’m hoping to start a discussion about available options currently on the market (gaskets, rings, larger head studs etc.) And options that will require custom parts to be made.

Thanks

ARP studs have been the go-to way of keeping the head sealed on any engine getting that much boost. I'd imagine on a built 1.8 you already had them on there?
