It is a lot heavier. I don't recall how far the tubes protrude into the starion end tanks.

I'm curious. I have the starion intercooler now. At what boost level should I think about switching it out for something bigger or with bigger inlet/outlets?

Only you can answer that because switching intercoolers is a PITA. I made 240rwhp with my starion and I'm pretty sure it was a restriction. My IAT's were very high too, but that was more of a turbo issue than an intercooler issue. I wanted to see what just the intercooler swap would do but a unfortunately I'm switching turbos at teh same time.

Not really relating to the intercooler, but I got a little done on the new T2 inlet flanges for the new TT manifold. Horray for hole saws

re: IC pipe routing - why didn't I do that?

ya know for those running the hot side pipe via another route, this would be an awesome source for cold air

Sure. I've taken the fenders on and off enough that it only takes a few minutes each, haha. That would be the hardest part.
