Help!! turbo miata still has high idle
I have a 1993 turbo miata on megasquirt pnp2 and the car idles at 2700 rpm. I have tried everything. I replaced the throttle body. I checked for vacuum leaks. When I change the idle warmup duty cycle nothing happens. I can't get the idle to go down. I have tried playing the megasquirt settings a lot and the idle still doesn't come down. I played with the fuel ve table. Im not sure if there is a setting I'm forgetting to play with but nothing is helping. I tried unplugging the iac and still nothing happens. The only thing I am thinking of now is that I deleted the air fuel meter by installing an air temperature sensor in my intercooler piping. I wired it all up but I forgot to tell megasquirt that I was running an air temperature sensor under the "calibrate thermistor tables". Maybe thats the issue? I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

Take it off and see if you can see the pintle close or try to blow through it. If it's not physically stuck wide open unplugging it would keep it closed. I seriously think you have a cracked manifold, or messed up throttle body or intake gasket.
Usually when something like this happens I ask myself what was the last thing I touched before it broke.....That's usually what caused it.

Yeah the 1.6 has two, I guess either could be stuck. The one with wires is controlled by the ECM. The other one functions like a thermostat in that's it's purely mechanical.
If you had the throttle body or intake off then I would start there checking for leaks. Easiest way is to pull em off and check the gasket to see if it sealed.
