Default gt2554r ball bearing rebuild

so I just recently bought a ball bearing gt2554r that works and has almost no shaft play but it is leaking oil through the inlet and probably outlet due to smoke. So I'm wondering instead of buying a new chra can I just get the oil seals and replace them myself or get a shop to do so?

Have you tried running a oil restrictor?
my bb 2560r would smoke out the exhaust pipe if I didnt have a restrictor.

Can we see your drain setup? What size feed/drain are you using? If you’ve got anything beside a big ID straight shot drain from the CHRA to oil pan you risk having oil back up the drain line and sneaking out the seals. What PCV setup are you using?

Oil feed is a banjo bolt setup to -4an with a 1.0mm restrictor which is also a 0.038" hole and oil drain is a straight shot to oil pan no bend or kink, pcv setup is going from intake manifold in valve cover and out to oil catch can
