Default Gauges needed for a 400 hp build

So I'm trying to decide what gauges to order for my setup. So far I've came up with Wideband, Boost, and Oil temp. What else could be dessired or needed for a 400 hp miata? I thought of egt but I'm not positive on the benefits over a wideband? and then there's voltage and water temp but those arent really necessary are they? Hope this isnt a repost but I didnt find anything a sec ago.

Thanks guys

No matter what I would throw in oil pressure gauge in there, first priority

I wouldn't think you would need any gauges. Unless they are in plain view on the dash, you won't be able to watch them. I have a wideband and boost gauge in the center vents, and when your in boost your eyes need to be up at the road keeping your car pointing straight. I would get the best sensors you can and log them. EGT can be helpful if you get one for each cylinder this would be a accurate way of seeing the byproduct of each cylinder instead of the collective A/F ratio.

It's going take some serious effort to make 400whp.

I'd do:
water temp
oil pressure
oil temp if you're on the track
fuel pressure
AFR
dual bank EGT
and possibly the Zeitronix ethanol percentage gauge

I mean building the motor is the easy part, it's figuring out if I want red edge stitching or a checkerboard pattern that's holding me back.

The HP gauge out of a Veyron would be really sweet... Real coolant, oil pressure, and wb02 would also be nice.

What exactly are these two and how will they benefit me?

the red stitching definitely held me back from 400hp.

This is exactly what I thought reading the OP

4 gauges, 100whp per gauge = 400whp.

Flawless logic is flawless

what kind of shorty antenna should i get?

get the normal type of gauges, like someone mentioned, after a certain point you wont be able to read them all. boost, afr, oil pressure would be on my list.

A volt meter can be really useful in the miata. Since the alternator and water pump run on the same belt, if the belt falls off/snaps you will be able to tell by your voltage level. Saved my *** on the highway one day. I was just cruising and looked down and saw my voltage below 12. Pulled over and sure enough the belt was gone.

I got one from Advance Auto. It's a little too tall and floppy. Looks like a flaccid ***** while I'm driving.
