Hey fellas, back with ANOTHER stupid inquiry
Attachment.jpeg
AEM Wideband (30-0300 Xseries) wiring issue at hand. My setup is sensor to gauge, and using the original o2 sensor wires crimped to the other harness into the gauge. Seemingly i did this wrong the first time, as gauge started to over heat.
Was told habving my grounds in seperate spots was wrong, but i also believe i just wired it wrong. Plz correct me now if this is incorrect:
- Red Wire from gauge into Radio Fuse (with one of those dual fuse connectors)
- Black wire from harness, ground it somewhere
- Brown wire, ground it in same spot.
-White wire from AEM harness goes into blue wire in the engine bay harness.
If this is proper, where do you suggets i ground them?
Originally use one ground wire on the fuse box bracket, i hear thats a nono.
Thanks in advance. If you have better suggestions on how to do this set up more easily ( i have zero previous wiring knowledge), thats appreciated.
And yes, I am aware of my lacking intelligence.
Thanks!
