I've been looking at these. They look to be 50 trim T04E's with a T3 Exhaust turbine, and they offer twin scroll which is worth about 5-8% in the midrange due to pulse separation of the cylinders 1-4 2-3 along with the spool advantage. I just don't know if it would get up and spool. While I don't mind running an 8k rpm rev limit, if it doesn't get up and spool a little by 4000ish, I'm going to wind up having to snake a nitrous line upfront, or getting another turbo.
I was planning to build my own header, I already solidwork'd it. I just gotta put tig to steel. Twin waste gate of course for bling and true separation of the scrolls for maximum exhaust exduction.
Anyone run something similar? I seen one guy in the spool thread that ran a T04E but it was a .64 a/r instead of an .83 and single scroll I believe.

Looks and reads a bit big, but the nitrous should give it the kick it needs to make it work fine. otherwise without the nitrous the power is going to be up high 5400RPM+. So the 5-8% gained in the mid is all moved up to the top. Although for a Drag car and High HP DYNO Queen it should reign sepreme. I have a similar turbo in my 04 Dodge Ram 2500, but its a 5.9L diesel and redlines @ 3200RPM. Good luck with that it should look crazy in a Miata Wish i had half the money you do, So i can try some ideas i have been kicking around for awhile now.
