dsm turbo, what size?

dsm turbo, what size?
So I have recently learned that instead of my car having a GT2560r turbo, it has an old DSM turbo-___- and I don't know what size it is. I tried looking for an ID tag, and I found one, but it has no ID number on it. All it says is DSM T25/T28. I can only assume its very small because I make full boost before 3500 rpm but I just want to know which one it is. It has .64 AR on the hot side and M16 imprinted on it too.

The bright side is that authentic Garrets are made in China anyway, and yours was probably made in the same factory with some of the same tooling as the real ones.
Brain's T3 50 trim setup outperforms the authentic S13 T25. So it's not all bad.
That 2871 clone though is not great.

You just had to post that link comparing the two didn't you. This thread is going downhill for me. But at least I know now I suppose. I'm definitely gonna be on the lookout for an sr20 T25 turbo

DSMs came with t25s from the factory ... Lots of guys upgraded to 16g turbos from the early evos. If you're gonna do a Mitsubishi turbo go with a twin scroll 16g from an evo 8-9 better spool not to mention a host of upgrades available for it and the ability to run copious amounts of boost.

OP if you care to know for sure post up a pic. It's probably a Chinese knockoff as previously mentioned.
Just to clear some things up...
14b uses a two-bolt compressor housing outlet flange where an elbow can be bolted on. Evo3 16G turbos, and their knockoffs, use this kind of compressor outlet, too.
T25 has an elbow cast in place.
14b on left, T25 on right. Also of note are the compressor wheels, with any "B" turbo having equally spaced blades at the same height. All "G" turbos (and the T25) have equally spaced pairs of blades which are stepped in height.
All DSM turbos have a 4-bolt turbine-to-manifold flange that is rectangular (oriented 90* when compared to a Garrett rectangle, if that makes sense), with a round inlet. The location and size of the inlet within that rectangle varies based on the turbo application. Some smaller Mitsu turbos from commercial trucks use a triangular, 3-bolt turbine/manifold flange, like the turbo used in some HKS kits for Miata.

sorry, I got busy. But here it is. very small I would say. I can't take it apart or off my car because there is broken bolt that connects the downpipe and the turbo and I dont have the knowledge or experience to take one of those out. You can almost see an ID number on the ID tag looking at it now but it isnt very clear.
