It is not a standard T25 or T28 turbo, the 4 bolt flange might be T25, but the exhaust flange is a 3 bolt for some OEM application.
So no existing miata downpipes will work, you will have to make a custom downpipe.
as for damage, i dont see anything externally, doesnt mean its fine internally.
Its a great deal if it was a standard T25/T28 turbo off a Nissan silvia, but for a not standard turbo, i would not call this a deal.
rule #1 dont start a build around some random turbo. and a turbo should not be the first piece of a turbo build that you buy.

It's a piece of ****, damaged or not. It will not be a good Turbo for you to start with. It is worth $25. It probably came off of some 200,000 mile car at a U-Pull-It, just looking at it and its flanges.
I have a perfectly good Chinese T3 I'll sell you for $100 if you just want "a turbo" but most people seek out the right turbo for their specific goals.
