Internal WG t3. They are saying $1500 with IC and turbo.
Now I understand the angle of the turbo.

Their kit has that funky IWG actuator that would hit if the turbo was positioned straight.

Kind of odd positioning for the intake pipe still, but its not that bad.

would like to see the downpipe clearance with it, but the turbo is forward mounted, so it might not be too bad... just a long downpipe.

Yeah and its v-bands which is a plus, I think.

3mm is a good thickness. If its welded well, there shouldn't be any issues of cracking provided there is a nice flex bellow or brace in the exhaust system.

vband exhaust is nice, if the turbo has a vband on it. I don't (personally) understand the appeal of a vband adapter on the turbo unless the adapter in this case also is a 5 bolt turbo outlet with wastegate with a vband outlet... which in case, the turbo is an EWG turbo adapted to IWG operation....

Either way, different strokes.

The turbo kind of has a v-band outlet. Either way that style turbo is going to have at least a single bolted connection where the wastegate housing thing bolts on. You can still choose a normal bolted flange as the outlet to that housing, but why?

And that's fine if you have to run the IWG adapter....

I just don't like the no purpose 5 bolt to vband adapter that is like an inch and a half deep.

You have the 5 bolt flange still, but then adapt it to vband for no apparent reason. there is no real reason to need the vband, and if there is you should be welding the vband right to the turbine housing. Again, its a personal thing I suppose, but I usually try to prevent the adapters in builds im consulting.

Why is it only listed to work up to 99? Is it because of the down pipe and cat location? This should bolt right up to a VVT head right?
