CX Racing T28 Turbo Exhuast Flange
I recently completed a turbo build for my 1990 Mazda Miata using the CX Racing turbo kit. Got everything installed got it tuned and it was running great. Unfortunately while drive the exhaust caught on an elevated manhole cover and now my downpipe turbo flange is bent. I am making a new downpipe currently but I ordered a t28 flange and it doesn't match the bolt pattern on the turbo. The turbo model number is trb-t28-2 on the cx racing site and is labeled as a t28. Just wondering if anyone knows why the bolt patterns don't match or where to find a flange with the correct bolt pattern. Worst comes to worst I'll just CNC my own flange but would prefer to find one I can just purchase. Unsurprisingly CX Racing support is no help.

The CX Racing exhaust flange is "unique" and not a standard T25 Garrett 5-bolt pattern, I got caught in that trap in the past and you'll have a hard time trying to find something that matches. I was able to find a source for that bolt pattern, but that was probably 10 years ago and on EBay so I can't vouch for the availability any more. I can check my old receipts and see if I can dig up a name...

I don't know why CX Racing would make the bolt pattern unique to other T25's and not also make the flange/downpipe available on their website. regardless I did end up finding a source for the flange on ebay.

If you contact the seller they will be able to machine the flange in either mild steel or 304 stainless, for anyone that runs into this problem in the future.
Personally I sent CX Racing support so many emails about it that they finally told me if I paypal them 30 bucks they would pull a flange from a kit and send it to me so that's what I ended up doing.
