Default Cost Effective Upgrades??

I have a 91 1.6 with a greddy kit installed. Im looking to increase the power a little but my budget is $600. This is because the car has 270,000 miles and Im expecting it to blow any second. The previous owner was running 20 psi with stock management.

Currently the car has greddy turbo, MSD boost control, Vortec FMU(not sure what disk is in), intercooler, stock injectors, straight pipe exhaust out the hood, coilovers, stock ecu,

I just want a little more power so what would you do if you had $600? I was thinking bigger injectors(not sure what size i can run. Ive read 330s??), new tires, and possibly a wideband? i wish i could get megasquirt but its way out of my price range at $799!

Would buy a Brain Megasquirt. $615 shipped.

Worth every penny. Car will run better, safer and make more power too.

Edit: Aidan beat me to it.

I swear thats what the boost gauge was reading. Unless its messed up...
When my intercooler piping blew out, it stayed at 0 psi and the car died at while idling at a light?

$600 should be a decent down payment on a shitty used daily driver at 75 fwhp.

if you're running 20psi on stock injectors today, you'll have 0hp tomorrow, and 75 fwhp is 75 hp more than 0 hp.

So, in closing, making a down payment on a shitbox is the most cost effective way for you to add horsepower with $600.

I'm running 6psi right now. Already have a daily. I DO NOT care if I blow the motor at all. I'm expecting it. This is just a fun bandaids project for me and I came here for advice.

Buy this megasquirt. Convert it to work on your car. Learn something, Profit with knowledge.
You could very easily build that into a parallel setup to only control timing and fuel, and for under $300, it would be 57.892 times better than what you're running now.

Why waste your time setting up a turbo kit then? Just run nitrous.

Should be in the mega squirt section...that thread should be the one. It's been a long time since I opened it.
