are you saying you want to make a connector harness between your cops and your stock wiring harness so you don't have to cut up the wiring harness? one end of the "jumper" harness would be 4 female ends(to each cop) and the other end would be 2 males to connect to stock harness(female)?

the female connector would be part of the wiring harness. thats the male end in the picture. the male end is part of the coil.

im going to check out the junkyards tomorrow for any connectors that are useable. i think its a good idea just to cut the NB's coil harness, then just add different connector pigtails like you suggested.
cjern - i thought that specific output (3rd) is not needed for the NB's or newer miatas? cause they get the tach signal from the CAS? am i missing something here?

I want connectors that look like the coil connector to make a PNP COP harness. They don't have a CAS they have a crank sensor instead of a cam angle sensor. You're not missing anything, i don't care about the 3rd pin, i just want a bare connector with pins. That's all.

COP on an 01+ is YOUR MOM.
Step 0: disassemble the effing valve cover.
Step 1: ream the **** out of the spark plug wire holes so they're like .975 or so.
Step 2: hack away at the COP itself so it fits the valve cover. saw off the ear, flat the sides that parallel the valve cover sides. notch around hole bosses
Step 3: Make sure the COP units fit all the way into the holes. I eyeballed them with the stock units with the valve cover off and they sit the same height down. reassemble your junks.
Step 4: Make a fancy plate that holds it all down. Use 3/8" aluminum tubing as spacers and some long M6 bolts to hold it all.
Photos after din din.

HOKAY here you go.
This is what it'll kinda look like.
This is what trimming looks like. And I guess 7/8" spacers.
you can see the bigger ones here.
The strapping mechanism isn't finalized yet. I basically took some 1" wide stainless and some aluminum tubing from the home deep and slapped it together.
