Default Coolant Mixing manifold mod question

I was wondering if it was possible to "spin" or "aim" the nipple
/Barb that's on the coolant mixing manifold so it's not aiming straight up. Is it just pressed in? Can it be spun?

I know the 3/8th barb on the valve cover can be removed with pliers.

If you mean this mixing manifold then yes, it can be spun around.

I mean this fitting. Can it be spun sideways so it doesn't point up.

I think it's "just" pressed in. Whether you can remove it without damaging the manifold itself is a different question.

Just curious. Why does it need to be spun?

I want to keep as many lines away from the front of the engine's pulleys and belts.
This would allow my turbo coolant line to go under the power steering pump, and clean up the engine bay a bit.

Not crucial, just being nit-picky.

Makes sense. Personally, I'm not using that line, so I've capped it off.

If you check the picture I posted, you'll see it's the same part flipped around with the barb spun 180 so it's facing upwards again.
