BRP intake manifold...
was browsing parts today.... and came across this... https://2693453429.monstercommercesi...PROD&ProdID=30
I'm wondering if it would make sense in a turbo application also???? it seems to be the only aftermarket intake manifold available for NB's.....

"We are finished with the Intake Manifold replacement for maximum power applications.
It comes powdercoated in black, and can be drilled for four vacuum ports. It will fit '94 to '04 Miatas. It can be sold with or with out the throttle body. Pricing is not final yet, but we have 1 more manifold available for $319.00. The next batch of manifolds is due in the first of June. Pictured below is the aftermarket Throttle Body we have to go with manifold. The Throttle Body is $150.00 and comes in a polished aluminum finish.
The estimated power increase is 5 to 8 percent. Installing this part is 'not for the faint of heart', which means it won't be simple. We will try to fit it to a MazdaSpeed some time in the next two weeks. "
Lots cheaper than the BRP solution also.

Yeah, just got an e-mail back from Bell.... they are out of stock currently, but should have some next month....
I wonder how complicated the install would be... they say its "not for the faint of heart..." but my engine will be getting replaced this month (too bad they don't have any in stock) I suppose all the stock parts would fit on it...

The BRP manifold would only be for 99+ motors because of the change in the intake manifold runnner angles.... I know they are coming out with a M1, 1.8 version.... just not sure where they are with it....
Currently it's also designed for SC'd cars with the TB on the blower, so while there might be some stuff you could adapt, they might not have all the holes required to install the TB on the manifold.... Cable mounting stuff, etc....
Dave,
