apexi avc-r boost controller question.... in an installing mood
ok, so I got one of these a while back, and was planning on doing the install possibly tomorrow.... thing is I got it used.... and the pressure sensor that it came with looks a bit different than the one in the manual.....
So I did some research tonight.... and it seems that the sensor I have is a GM 3 bar MAP sensor. Now, it also seems that some people with the Power FC from Apexi use the GM 3 Bar as a replacement for it's sensor, seeing as the apexi sensor lists for at least 150 (the 3 bar). Also it seems that the MAP sensor from the Avc-r is interchangeable with the one from the Power FC.
so it stands to reason that the GM 3 bar would work with my AVC-R..... doesn't it?
I spent today pullin the rest of My AC and trying to install a new alternator pulley .
AC removel went rather well, but I can't get the stock Alternator pulley off to save my soul!!! I tried using the belt from the car to hold it in place, No dice.... tried a leather belt... no dice..... tried a 15 dollar strap wrench from sears.... no dice (and kinda pissed off about that one).
any tips for keeping that alternator pulley off to replace it withougt removing the alternator and using an impact???? I really don't want to pay the shop to do something that should be super easy ( I even have access now that I pulled the AC lines)
oh, and I ordered a new Garage Vary duckbill spoiler today, and a "roadster turbo" badge both from Japan...... tax returns rule

ok, this has been a nightmare.....
everything is done, with the exception of attaching the GM 3 bar sensor!.... I can't for the life of me figure out what the function of the 3 wires from the apexi harness are individually..... one is power, one is ground, and one is signal, but I have no idea which is which!!!!!!!!! arghkhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
apexi said they'd call me back.... that was an hour and a half ago, it's getting dark here, and rain is on the way.....
there is a blue, a brown, and a yellow wire coming from the apexi harness.... any ideas?
