I posted a while back about a mitsubishi kit but then saw this one for a lot cheaper, anyone used it and is it legit? and whats up with the thrust bearing anyone else heard of this?

I'd use it. Worst case scenario is you'd have to rebuild it again later.

Assembly needs to be balanced after you take it apart.. esp if there is any wheel wear

nope. every turbo we rebuild gets balanced. you spin an out of balance assembly at 100k rpm and see how long it holds up.
