Default 1.6 swapped for 1.8 wanting to go turbo.

I got my 1.6 engine swapped for the 1.8. I am wanting to go turbo but don't really know whether to buy a kit or go the DIY route. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have searched both the kits and DIY but was looking for some help from those that have already gone through the process

I think more specifics would be helpful, as to your mechanical experience, technical abilities and performance desires.

Get a MSPnP from DIY Autotune
Get a turbo kit from BEGi. They'll sell you a complete package or a custom kit with just parts you desire, at your request.
Install the MS while waiting for the boxes from BEGi to show up.
Install turbo
Drive
Be happy

I still haven't done those last 3. Bell can make you a kit with whatever motor in whatever car. Hopefully everything will bolt up in mine next month.
