Hey guys,

A little change of forum duties. My name is Chris, I'm a new hire here at DW and I'll be spending more time on the forums getting to know you guys and your cars a little better. Mark is still around, but we'll let him hide in his cave a little more.

If you guys/gals have any questions. Feel free to send me a PM or shoot me an email: chris@deatschwerks.com

you wouldn't guess 43.5? certainly not the 60psi the NB system is specd at.

Yes, the injectors are tested at 43.5 psi, so if you are running a higher fuel pressure, the injectors will flow more.

I have run at Hallett, and I'm one of the instructors for the HST DE drivers this season. I had the CR-V up there last Sunday, bounding around the track...yes CR-V, the Honda mini-SUV.

Thanks. Do RC rate theirs at 43 psi too? (Reason I ask is for switching from RC 500s to D's 600s).

lol is your CRV lowered? I considered buying one in the past and putting a more street oriented suspension and tire/wheel package on it.

Looks like the RC injectors are rated at 43.5psi, as well (according to their website).

Yes, the CR-V is lowered on Koni Yellows and Ground Controls. The ride on my CR-V compared to a stock one is night and day, it can be a little rough sometimes...but when you are used to driving lowered and higher sprung/dampered compacts around it feels just right.

On the forum special cleaning service do you do the pre-test on the injectors before cleaning so you get a before and after picture?

No sir, no pre-test.

The pre-test is the difference between the forum special and the dynamic service.

The reason I ask is that that isn't what your thread in the member discount and group buy section says and has said since November 2008. https://www.miataturbo.net/deatschwerks-miata-accessories-61/free-service-upgrade-miataturbo-net-users-28105/
I'm not upset, just surprised that it wasn't included in the ones I just had serviced. If it isn't included then this member discount offering is clearly incorrect and has been for quite some time and should be changed. See below:

So everyone knows how great a vendor Deatschwerks is, here is a PM I got from Chris:

Unfortunately, it's too late to do the pre-test but can I buy you beer to make it up to you? ($20 refund)

Let me know, I don't like for people to have a bad experience, you know?

Chris
I declined the $20, as I had not been harmed and was merely seeking clarification.

Please support our forum's sponsors, especially good ones like these guys. I was very happy with the service they performed.
