Disgusting behavior.
Arm clerks with birdshot?
Built-in nets that drop from the ceiling and detain all *********?
I don't know what the solution is (other than stop-their-parents-from-raising-*********).

ignore the 5 year old girl narrating.
words for you:
The key to freedom is to be able to have the ability to defend yourself &, if you dont have the tools to do that, then youre going to be at the mercy of whomever wants to put you away.
Guns are deeply rooted within Swiss culture - but the gun crime rate is so low that statistics are not even kept.
The country has a population of six million, but there are estimated to be at least two million publicly-owned firearms, including about 600,000 automatic rifles and 500,000 pistols.
This is in a very large part due to Switzerland's unique system of national defence, developed over the centuries.
Instead of a standing, full-time army, the country requires every man to undergo some form of military training for a few days or weeks a year throughout most of their lives.
Between the ages of 21 and 32 men serve as frontline troops. They are given an M-57 assault rifle and 24 rounds of ammunition which they are required to keep at home.
Once discharged, men serve in the Swiss equivalent of the US National Guard, but still have to train occasionally and are given bolt rifles. Women do not have to own firearms, but are encouraged to.
Update 28th December 2010:
Out of nearly 3 million views of this video there are 4358 thumbs up to 427 thumbs down. So, you could say, if any of us lived in any sort of real democracy in this world that would mean that only one in every ten people would like to keep gun control laws. Guess this means that we're not and that the tyrants still have all the real power.

I think Switzerland is an interesting case study, but it's always hard to draw direct parallels because you have so much divergence in history. For example, there is almost no racial division in Switzerland (that I know of) compared to the USA and the culture is much more homogenous.
Likewise, with only 6 million people, Switzerland's population is a couple of million shy of the 5 boroughs of New York City.
I would be very curious to know more about poverty levels there, but you should know that Switzerland has universal health care and an insurance mandate.
That said, I think having every male adult serve some time in the national armed forces and teaching familiarity with - and respect for - firearms early likely has a very positive effect.
Actually, that probably means it has been seen by many more viewers that are sympathetic with the position (aka confirmation bias).

I heard on the news this morning that due to the conflicting expert testimony the judge threw out the 911 recording that catches someone screaming for help in the background. It could not be determined who was screaming so it was not admitted. I know the trial is starting and the Jury has been sequestered.
I am pretty sure he will be acquitted, I just don't see an air tight case on this one as there is no solid eye witness testimony and only Zimmerman can give his account of events while Trayvon cannot.

lol, the opening statement given was that Zimmerman shot Martin because, "he wanted to," and that, "the evidence will show that this is a sad case."
Last time I checked zimmerman was on trial for second-degree murder, and they need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that zimmerman unlawfully killed another human being, NOT that this is a sad case.
also, by FL law, this should have been a third-degree murder charge at best (since the defense is going to say Zimmerman stalked Martin). And the unlawful killing of a human being, when perpetrated without any design to effect death, by a person engaged in the perpetration of, or in the attempt to perpetrate, any felony other than any: (o) Aggravated stalking, is murder in the third degree and constitutes a felony of the second degree.
Second-degree is defined as: The unlawful killing of a human being, when perpetrated by any act imminently dangerous to another and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, although without any premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual, is murder in the second degree and constitutes a felony of the first degree
Which is not what the DA is going to argue, if this was the case, Zimmerman would have got out of his truck and just started shooting people at random. But he allegedly targeted and stalked zimmerman, which the DA WILL argue.
