No that is not what I believe. But under stand your ground logic he would have the right to shoot a pursuer and be done with it no questions asked apparently. Oh wait he was a black kid with a hoodie maybe not.

I've never, ever argued that.

Zimmerman shot Martin after Martin had knocked him to the ground and was straddling him, punching him in the face "MMA-style" according to a witness. Zimmerman yelled for help at least 14 times.

But I'm sure he just shot him because he was a black kid in a hoodie.

Travon fought back when Zimmerman perused and confronted him likely started the altercation and Likely Zimmerman never Identified himself after Travon asked why are you fallowing me. Lesson learned if you’re going to kick someone’s *** that starts a fight with you use a gun, the one who shoots first gets to claim self-defense in Florida.

Make a lot of assumptions don't you? Can you point to a credible source that shows what you said is indeed a possibility?

Oh, I'll happily concede to Bob that it's a possibility.

By the way, Bob, since when is it legal to "fight back" when someone confronts you? If I see someone I don't recognize walking down my neighborhood street aimlessly, and I ask them what their business is, do they have a legal right to knock me down, straddle me, and rain down punches "MMA-style"?

Bob's just a racist, it's pretty cut and dry. He has a bias against "vigilante wannabe-cops" and will clearly ignore all the facts of the matter because of the black guy with a hoodie is the victim. it's so cliche it's humorous.

this is what Bob would be like in court if he was called to Zimmerman trial:

Compare to this jury decision from yesterday in florida:

http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2012/may/...artner=popular

"The fact is, under Florida law, he was allowed to stab him until he was dead. That's all you need to know as jurors to decide this case."

Truth? Why, my Army hoodie almost killed me when I was doing PT back in the day - have never worn one since...

I for one, thing Zimmerman was right... I have every right to question someone looking suspicious in my neighborhood - if they want to pull fists and start beating me, then I got something for that too...

Saw on the news that pictures of Zimermanns photos where released along with details on his injuries. Lacerations to back of his head, broken noise and black eyes.

Trayvon's autopsy showed only his knuckles were bruised and apparently he is a pot smoker.

in the discovery:

  • Autopsy results show Trayvon Martin had marijuana in his system and that he was shot through the heart at close range.
  • George Zimmerman had a broken nose, bruises and bloody cuts on the back of his head. "Bleeding tenderness to his nose, and a small laceration to the back of his head. All injuries have minor bleeding," paramedic Michael Brandy wrote about Zimmerman's injuries in the report.
  • The lead investigator called for Zimmerman's arrest in a report written March 13, a month before the actual arrest. The investigator, Christopher Serino, told prosecutors the fight could have been avoided if Zimmerman had stayed in his vehicle. He said Zimmerman could have identified himself to Martin, then talked to him, rather than confronting him. There is no evidence Martin was involved in any criminal activity, Serino said.
  • Serino wrote in a report that he played a 911 call for Martin's father, Tracy, in which screams for help are heard multiple times. "I asked Mr. Martin if the voice calling for help was that of his son," the officer wrote. "Mr. Martin, clearly emotionally impacted by the recording, quietly responded 'no.'" Zimmerman's father also listened to the recording and told investigators on March 19 that it was his son yelling for help. "That is absolutely positively George Zimmerman," Robert Zimmerman said. "He was not just yelling, he sounded like he was screaming for his life."
  • An unnamed woman told an investigator in a police interview that she stays away from Zimmerman because he's racist and because of things he's done to her in the past, but she didn't elaborate on what happened between them. "I don't at all know who this kid was or anything else. But I know George, and I know that he does not like black people. He would start something. He's very confrontational. It's in his blood. We'll just say that," the woman says in an audio recording.
  • An unnamed man told investigators said he worked with Zimmerman in 2008 for a few months. The man, who described his heritage as "Middle Eastern," said Zimmerman bullied him at work. Zimmerman wanted to "get in" with the clique at work who did not like the man, so Zimmerman exaggerated a Middle Eastern accent, and made reference to terrorists and bombings when talking about him. "It was so immature," said the employee, who complained to management about Zimmerman. Zimmerman's parents say he wasn't racist. They said he mentored black students and had a black relative.

Braineack you dont side with the Trayvon supporters, you damn racist. I do find this whole debate pretty ridiculous, anytime more evidence comes out and I hear some of my college peers discussing it, I always but In and say well the new evidence says this.

I get the same response everytime, You're a racist.

This is part of "Discovery?" I am very sure that you can find someone to say almost anything about any one of us.

yep. that's part of discovery; they have such a strong case. There's also some fluff about how it "could have been avoided" more speculation...
