Please tell me how Rush Limbaugh is still relevant in 2012.

Yes - sometimes I behave like an *** because it seems fun.
On Limbaugh - attached is a brief look at him from the NYT's token right-wing pundit.

Cliffs - "when the spotlight isn’t on Limbaugh, and when his excesses aren’t front-and-center and thus impossible to deny, too many conservatives — including not just finger-in-the-wind politicians, but some of the country’s most sagacious conservative intellectuals — are weirdly reluctant to acknowledge that there are any valid critiques of him at all."

I'm going to eat mcdonalds everyday for the rest of my life, and when my heart explodes and I die on the operating table, I'm going to demand (from teh grave) my wife goes and testifies to congress, that my medical bills should have been paid for by the taxpayer, all of it. My diebeties medicine, my blood pressure pills, my motorized scooter, my lap band surgery, all of it, hell maybe even my food bills, since McDonalds accept ETB.
Because my choices should have no consequences or economic impact.
If you think that's wrong, and you happen to call my a fatty, you're still correct.
His argument against the taxpayers having to subsidize the behavior choice of another American is dead on. His **** comment is irrelevant and but it doesn't make his arguement irrelevant.

It's just more liberal smear tactics. Rush - and the right - don't hate all women. Most of these people that supposedly 'hate women' are happily married. Sometimes more than once. It's the LIEberals who are trying to turn people gay that hate women. Rush and the right are only focusing on the dumb, whorish women. If a woman doesn't want to be called dumb and whorish, she shouldn't go to Washington and act dumb and whorish. Simple as that. But, just like dims can't see that keeping your legs closed is a much cheaper, simpler solution than forcing religious organizations to pay for their birth control and abortions, these simple solutions don't expand the government enough.
It's misogyny! It's hate! No, it's calling a spade a spade and asking that she be responsible for her own leisure activities. Maybe you libs could stop spending all your time crying about every mean thing that people say and actually try to fix mean things that people do...like raising a child without knowing who the father is.

A little George Will:
and
but then this is like "duh"
Except that he did.
ABC’s George Will told me Sunday on “This Week” that GOP leaders have steered clear of harshly denouncing Limbaugh’s comments because “Republican leaders are afraid of Rush Limbaugh.”
“[House Speaker John] Boehner comes out and says Rush’s language was inappropriate. Using the salad fork for your entrée, that’s inappropriate. Not this stuff,” Will said. “And it was depressing because what it indicates is that the Republican leaders are afraid of Rush Limbaugh. They want to bomb Iran, but they’re afraid of Rush Limbaugh.”

“I think the problem is the Republican leaders, Mitt Romney and the other candidates, don’t have the courage to say what they say in quiet, which, they think Rush Limbaugh is a buffoon,” Dowd said. ”They think he is like a clown coming out of a small car at a circus. It’s great he is entertaining and all that. But nobody takes him seriously.”
Limbaugh issued an apology to Fluke on Saturday, saying his “choice of words was not the best” and that he did not mean for his “insulting word choice” to come off as a “personal attack.”

Yes, Brainy.

Let's compare a liberal comedian who donates to a PAC, not the actual candidate, to a...whatever Rush is.
Come on bro, grow a pair. It's about as fair of a comparison as me comparing you to Gearhead because you both are dudes.

Legally, Super PACs aren't supposed to have any official contact with a campaign, and it would be wholly inappropriate for the president to ask the Super PAC to return a donation.

its fair enough, both are polictical entertainers, but one is republican...so it makes sense.
the simple fact that Don Imus spoke out against Rush is beyond retarded.
the comparison of me to gearhead is pretty good, because we are both fantastically awesome for liking Slayer.
end all:

The other is a political leader in one party and attacked a private citizen, violating several laws in his own state in the process of attacking her. It's completely the same bro, amirite? I mean, one offhand comment is OBVIOUSLY the same as a three-day rant!

Whenever you tear an idea from its context and treat it as though it were a self-sufficient, independent item, you invalidate the thought process involved. If you omit the context, or even a crucial aspect of it, then no matter what you say it will not be valid . . . .
