90 Percent Of Virginia Police Divisions Violating Eyewitness Evidence Rules, Analysis Estimates | ThinkProgress
Of the 16 people in Virginia who have been exonerated by DNA since testing became available, 13 cases involved eyewitnesses. In light of this data, Virginia overhauled its policies on eyewitness identification two years ago. But according to a new examination by at the University of Virginia School of Law, 90 percent of the state’s police divisions may be violating the rules. In fact, in an analysis of 144 law enforcement agencies, Professor Brandon Garrett found that only 6 percent had adopted the new model policy. One-fifth of the agencies lacked any eyewitness ID policy, in violation of a 2005 requirement.

Malheur County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Wroten likes playing cowboy so much he is on the board of the Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo, and he gets to shock animals with thousands of volts of electricity.
As this video shows, Deputy Wroten is also willing to violate the rights of citizens whose only "offense" is to video document the abuse of Wroten and his fellow phony cowboys.

but i liked this video from that page:
FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH -- Judge Amy Salerno told a jury that they reached the wrong verdict. Showing her lack of impartiality, she publicly chastised the jury in open court. Disgraceful behavior for a judge.
"The judge came off the bench, and she indicated she thought they had gotten the verdict wrong," Judge Green said. "They were further told, 99 percent of the time, the jury gets it right. It's now 98 percent. They brought that percentage down by getting it wrong."
Jurors have the unequivocal right to vote the way they want to vote. They have the power to judge both the case, and the law itself. If the law is unjust, they have the right to nullify that law, even if the defendant broke it. Corrupt judges hate jury nullification, and lie to jurors about their rights. And in some cases, publicly throw fits when the defendant is set free.

Former police chief gets prison term in teen sex case - Omaha.com
ALLIANCE — A former western Nebraska police chief has been sentenced to 20 to 24 years in prison on a charge of attempted sexual assault.
Former Hemingford Police Chief Mark Lindburg, 53, initially was charged with first-degree sexual assault and child abuse. In an agreement with prosecutors, Lindburg pleaded no contest last month to one count of attempted first-degree sexual assault of a child, and the child abuse count was dropped.
Lindburg had faced up to 50 years in prison.
Lindburg was police chief from November 2006 until he resigned in November 2011.
He was accused of sexually assaulting a then-15-year-old girl in 2010.
The girl’s parents had learned of the abuse after finding a text message to their daughter. The parents called the number and Lindburg answered.
An investigation showed Lindburg engaged in sexual interactions with the girl while on duty. Investigators said Lindburg had known the girl “as long as she could remember.”

CBS 6 EXCLUSIVE: Police take guns from armed Obama protester | WTVR.com
“There was about five or six officers,” he recollects, and “they had their weapons out, trained on me.”
“I was illegally searched, my weapons were illegally taken from me, I was illegally detained. I was publicly humiliated.”
The Hopewell police chief says no charges will be filed against Howard, and an investigation is underway to determine if officers acted appropriately.

I was at LP days. I ended up leaving just before that happened.
That happened 5 minutes from my house. It was a pretty big deal for about 10 minutes on social media, but i never saw that video until now...
FWIW it was a total animal house there. Typical animal like people started acting like idiots... Instead of telling the idiots to leave, or just simply arresting them, they shut the entire show down. Then i guess things got worse.

AKRON, Ohio - The Summit County Prosecutor has determined that a University of Akron police officer was justified when he shot and killed a 64-year-old man during a traffic stop in May.
No charges will be filed against Officer Aaron Burnette and the case wasn't presented to a grand jury.
Video from the officer's body pack shows him firing his service revolver 16 times into a Pontiac Sunfire.
The officer, a 15-year veteran of the UA force, opened fire after James Genda pulled out what appeared to be a .45-caliber pistol. It turned out the weapon was actually a BB gun...
