“So, this is my standup set in a club. There’s like 50 people here, and no one is laughing. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m thinking about doing a bit about how being transgender is actually a mental illness. Or how all liberals are secretly gay and want to impose their will on everyone. Or something about how transgender people are ruining the fabric of society. But no one is laughing.”
- Larry Feinberg
That's one way for a comedian to get themself cancelled.
What makes this case interesting, of course, is that Larry Feinberg does not exist. It's a procedurally-generated AI character, one of four who, until a few days ago, formed the cast of Nothing, Forever, a continuous (like, nonstop 24/7, generated in real-time) parody of the TV show Seinfeld, which ran live on the Twitch streaming platform.
It wasn't deepfake-level AI. Pretty much the opposite, in fact. But I'll admit that it was kind of amusing to have on in the background while I was working on some other task.

India Willougbhy seems to presume that the reader has a certain preexisting attitude towards trans people, and I'm sure that if I went and Twittered they I could figure out what that presumption is.
But, based solely on the information in the above panel (and having no background knowledge of who India Willougbhy is), I genuinely cannot decide whether they assumes that the reader would laugh at the trans woman because they acknowledge how ridiculous he is, or if the reader would recognize that the trans woman is a human being who does not deserve to be the subject of their scorn and laughter, and thus be shamed by their own behavior.

And, yes, it is interesting how people at that end of the spectrum do seem to possess the belief that a lot more people agree with them than actually do. While I hesitate to speak on behalf of all humanity, I would not suddenly become ashamed of laughing at trans jokes by the presence of a trans woman on the stage.
You know who else is fun to mock? The Church of England.
Church of England to explore gender-neutral pronouns for God
The Church of England will begin exploring the possibility of using gender-neutral terminology to refer to God, officials for the religious institution said Wednesday."Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female," a Church spokesperson said in a statement to Reuters, while also acknowledging that "the variety of ways of addressing and describing God found in scripture has not always been reflected in our worship."This statement was accompanied by an announcement from the Church that it would form a commission on using gender-neutral terms this coming spring.

Now, I'm no theological scholar. In fact, I'm pretty strongly anti-Christian. But I'm not sure that "Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female" is an accurate statement.
In every Christian bible I which have come across, in every language, Jesus Christ refers to God as "my Father." Given that most Christian churches claim to believe that the bible is inerrant and contains the literal words spoken by Christ, I'm not quite clear on how de-gendering God is going to work for them.

The fact that the church would even suggest something like that is blasphemous. It saddens me to see churches sacrifice true Christian values and laws in an effort to attempt to stay either relevant or to avoid persecution. To be persecuted is a part of being a Christian, to hold the laws of God above all else is not negotiable. We truly live in horrible times.

From the trans' point of view, any cis woman who describes themselves as a feminist, and yet does not support the idea that men can be women, gets that label applied to them as a pejorative.
