Interesting read. Authors are not friends of gasoline. Examples of bias:
1. Absolutely no mention/discussion of electricity generation by nuclear sources. Strange omission.
2. Emissions for battery production were discussed and presented, but results were separated from the presentation of electric vehicle emissions. In contrast, emissions for gasoline, diesel and CNG vehicles had all sources accounted for. This biases the results.
3. Manufacturing and disposal impacts for all types were assumed equal with sources cited. Perhaps that's true, but isn't battery disposal a sticky issue?
Anyways, interesting that people who would inherently like gasoline to go away have to admit it's at worst a middle-of-the-road solution.
