Are you guys now seriously questioning whether people actually lost limbs and suffered legitimate injuries in the blasts? So now, not only are the media in bed with the Federal and local governments on this amazing conspiracy but all of the hospital workers are also covering for previously amputated actors?
I see no way me continuing to read this thread adds anything positive or of value to my life. You guys carry on.

However I still think it's possible this was an FBI entrapment operation gone awry.

If that's prosthetic makeup, it's a better job than I have ever seen any Hollywood effects artist do. And yes, I have worked in the business.
Sidebar: wouldn't it suck to have the tattered, dangly remains of your leg get caught under the wheel of the wheelchair that you are sitting in?

Police say after they surrounded the boat at around 7:30 p.m., the suspect peaked through the hatch and unloaded fire at them, and about 50 rounds were returned. he lay motionless in the boat for about two more hour until he finally got up and climbed out on his own accord. there's obviously police video/audio of what transpired here that won't get released.
story changed again: Officials: Suspect unarmed when arrested in boat
Two U.S. officials say the surviving suspect in the Boston bombings was unarmed when police captured him hiding inside a boat in a neighborhood back yard.
Authorities originally said they had exchanged gunfire with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev for more than one hour Friday evening before they were able to subdue him.
...
The officials tell The Associated Press that no gun was found in the boat. Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said earlier that shots were fired from inside the boat.

Amongst legal scholars, eyewitness testimony is almost universally derided as the single most unreliable form of evidence known to jurisprudence.
Place three ordinary people into an ordinary environment such as a bar or a classroom. Have an attacker storm in and fire several rounds from a handgun, killing or wounding several people.
Now, ask the three eyewitnesses how many rounds the attacker fired. You will get three different answers.
This is not indicative of a conspiracy.
