House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday that she's never met with the current Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak.
"Not with this Russian ambassador, no," Pelosi told POLITICO's Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer during a Playbook interview, when asked if she'd ever met with the Russian envoy.
The New York Times’ changes can actually be seen in real time here, on NewsDiffs.org. The red strikethrough portion is what they scrubbed. Note the insistence that McCaskill’s claim “cast doubt on Mr. Sessions’ explanation.”
High-Tech Condom Ring Coming Out To Measure Boink Performance
“Users will have the option to share their recent data with friends, or, indeed the world,” the manufacturer promises.
The i.Con tracks speed, “average thrust velocity,” duration, skin temperature, girth, calories burned (no joke) and frequency of sessions. Most importantly for many, no doubt, will be how a wearer stacks up to the average and “best” performers — though a sexual partner will likely have an insight or two about that. Statistics are tracked via an i.Con app.
The ring will come with a one-year warranty and have a micro-USB charging port to provide up to eight hours of juice after a single hour of being plugged in.
British Condoms vows that “all data will be kept anonymous, but users will have the option to share their recent data with friends, or, indeed the world.” Just watch out for those Russian hackers.

Proof that no political party has a monopoly on idiocy.
This is so dumb. Why did they even have to claim that they hadn't met him? It's not relevant to anything. I guess they just felt the need to open their mouths and lie.
They're not that dumb. As long as they can keep everybody in America pissed off, people will tune into the news and click their ******* faces off. More people watching the news equals more people watching Ford commercials, or tampon commercials, or anti-depressent drug commercials, or dick-hardening drug commercials... or whatever demographic watches news at whatever hour. Everybody wins the more pissed off we become. The news cycle is short. I haven't seen a Betsy Devos article since about an hour after she was confirmed because there's no more fight to be had. The entirety of the Sessions "debate" will be done in two weeks and nobody will care because we'll all he h8ting on eachother about other things... and tuning if for the latest rebate on F-150's.

I read a few things about DeVos because of her face palm worthy words re historically black colleges. Probably not on the news though. I don't really watch tv...

Yup. And we (WGN) just announced yesterday that we're adding another hour of news in the early evening (6-7p). That'll put us over the hump at 13 hours a day of live, local origination, and that doesn't count evenings when we air Cubs / Mets / Bulls / Nets, all of which we also originate. Not too shabby.
And you know what? News sells. This past book, our 9pm hour was the #2 program in its timeslot. That means that more people were watching the evening news on WGN than all but one of the primetime network shows.
My favorite spot blocks are the ones where we air a fast-food ad and a weight-loss ad back to back.
Extra shift of reporting to cover all the murders?
"Coming up, a Joliet couple is accused of using a live-in student as a sex slave! Parents of a young teen are furious their daughter was forced to take a pregnancy test in school! On 9 News around the world, a fire sparks a series of explosions at a fireworks factory! And, the wait is over: the tell-all book on Sixshooter hits the shelves! WGN News at six is next!"
24-Hour News Channels Banned from Lackawanna County YMCA Political discourse at the local "Y" has turned threatening.

DUNMORE. LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)- No more 24-hour news channels. That's the new policy at an area YMCA after the organization's leaders say political discourse has turned threatening.
In a letter to its gym members, the Greater Scranton YMCA says the board of directors decided to block 24-hour news channels.
The letter continues to say "it has raised concerns about the safety, both physically and emotionally, of our members."
It says the topic may be revisited once things "calm down," but for now the ban continues. Eyewitness News spoke with some gym members.
"I understand why they did it because there was a lot of controversy with a lot of people talking and arguing," says YMCA member Susan Dimmick. "There was a lot of arguing going on, but I don't think it was right."
"I think it is probably an overreaction," says YMCA member David Dimmick. "There was a lot of arguing going on during the election, protesting, that type of thing. But I think it's all gone now."
The letter is posted in the YMCA lobby for members to see. Eyewitness News reached out to the YMCA for comment but have not heard back yet.

yes, creating another cold war to distract the President from fulfilling all the polices american citizens voted for is a pretty smart plan.

Modern presidential elections and how they were won:
2016 - Electoral College Vote
2012 - Electoral College Vote
2008 - Electoral College Vote
2002 - Electoral College Vote
1998 - Electoral College Vote
1994 - Electoral College Vote
1990 - Electoral College Vote
1986 - Electoral College Vote
...
I could keep going...
For decades, presidential campaigns have been designed to win the electoral vote, because that's how presidents are elected in this country.
If the popular vote mattered, then the republicans would have won the election by campaigning for the popular vote instead of campaigning for the electoral vote.
Are democrats that dumb? Did they really campaign to win the popular vote? That explains everything...
