During that time line Republicans controlled house and Senate between 1995 and 2007. Bush had control of all three branches of government for 6 years of his time in office. Even if bush intended to do the right thing as Bret Baier wants you to believe he failed miserably. Bret Baier is a partisan GOP propogandists not telling the whole story and he is working for a news agency founded and created by the most promanant GOP propogandists straight out of the Nixon era and for the purpose of party propoganda.

The Government handouts that your boy Mittens has received is worth many thousands of times that of a welfare recipient and yet you will still complain that somebody who uses a food stamp to buy a snickers bar and ignore the fact Exxon Mobile took thousands of the tax money you may have personally paid.

I just heard yet another coworker bitching about Obama care is stupid and we don't need it. I really don't care for either party or candidate. It's like voting for Walmart versus GE. They should wear nascar uniforms with their sponsors. That being said, Obama care did make a big difference for a lot of folks. Folks like me.
Two huge benefits were no insurance caps and no ban on pre-existing conditions. Why is that important? I have a son that was born last year with Down Syndrome and a massive hole in his heart. We have already had over $3 million in medical bills. My wife has great insurance, but $3 million would have got us dropped like a rock even from BCBS. After we got dropped, we would have been in a nightmare limbo left trying to find someone to cover us. IF we found someone to cover us the cost would be astronomical.
Just food for thought.
And after my son had his reconstructive surgery he had a great come back and 9 months later has no apparent heart/lung issues. Modern medicine is truly amazing.

Under obama care I would have not had to hire a lawyer and fight BCBS after my bike wreck (other person as fault is only 100,000 coverage and no assets). I wouldn't of had to wait 4 years to get the surgery I just got and would not be fighting with my current heath care over it being falling outside what can be call preexisting.

You were hit while on a motorcycle, the police found the other person at fault, and your Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance refused to cover your medical expenses? Or they only covered you for $100k and your expenses exceeded that amount?
Where was your motor vehicle coverage in all of this?

Can you clarify how Obamacare would have helped in this situation? I assume you typed the above on a phone because your parenthetical doesn't read totally coherently to me.
You were hit while on a motorcycle, the police found the other person at fault, and your Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance refused to cover your medical expenses? Or they only covered you for $100k and your expenses exceeded that amount?

So we had to sue BCBS to cover the heath cost as the hospital was charging them and BCBS was just passing 100% of the bill on to me.
Side note, also because of Texas insurance laws the cosigher on the lease and policy can not be held liable even though they sighed a contract stating financial responsibility as a cosigner. Bitches parents are halliburton rich and the suv belonged to halliburton.
Texas is the only state like that.

Wait, what?
Are you saying that if I live in Texas, and I am hit by another driver while driving my car, that my own health insurance will not pay for the cost of treating whatever injuries I sustain?
So what happens when the cost of my treatment exceeds the bodily injury liability coverage of the at-fault driver? What happens when the driver is not insured? What happens when I am at fault?
