And this is why I am finally comfortable making a prediction: Harris is going to win the 2024 election, and by a substantial electoral college margin. Fraud won't even be required.
Here's a look at the trend in gender demographics in voter participation in the US over the past 60 years:
The ratio of female to male voters participating in presidential elections has been steadily rising since the 1950s. This is not surprising, as it mirrors similar trends in college enrollment and graduation, as well as employment in management and professional occupations, all of which are now majority-female in the US despite the fact that the overall labor force participation rate remains slightly higher for males than females.
This hold true when adjusted for age as well, with the parity point not being reached until age 72, by which point simple mortality statistics have dragged the absolute voter numbers well below those of the 25-64 group, despite the much higher voter participation rate of the 65+ crowd:
Republicans have historically opposed abortion access, and this has been hurting them more and more.
Now, if you genuinely believe that political candidates have actual, firm moral and ethical convictions, then that's a whole different conversation. But insofar as politicians strive primarily to be elected and re-elected so that they can use their power for personal gain, the Reds are pandering to a consistently shrinking audience, which has now fallen well below the threshold needed to deliver a victory.
And in this election cycle, in particular, the dems and their Mazdaspeed Miata sycophants have managed to convince an enormous percentage of the Ovarian-American population that the bad, evil Republicans will force them all to wear electronic trackers to monitor their pregnancy and report to the gestapo if they travel to Canada or Mexico to obtain an abortion after the Trumpublican dictatorship completely bans it nationwide.
That's a good strategy on the part of Team Donkey, and one which they likely would not have been able to execute as convincingly were it not for the last minute switcharoo they pulled with their candidate. They have raised the level of fervor over this one specific issue to such a high degree that everything else (the warmongering, the prison-slavery, the controlled demolition of the monetary system, the obvious lack of any clear ideology, etc) have receded down into the noise floor.

It will also sway a lot of local and gubernatorial races, too. I know of more than a handful of people who will vote for Trump, but are not voting Republican locally due to abortion as a single issue. This wasn't the case in the previous election, but is being viewed as a "last line of defense" with R v. W having been overturned.

Right-leaning politicians keep sabotaging their own party and giving the libs more and more ammo by pulling stupid feel-good stunts which accomplish nothing productive.
Case in point, Mayor Doug Diny of Wausau, Wisconsin (pop 39,994) recently staged a press event in which he posed for photographs of himself removing the city's only ballot drop box from outside the City Hall building, and carting it away. This is something which he promised to do during his Mayoral campaign earlier this year, in the heavily Trump-leaning city with a per-capita income of $20,300 (Wisconsin average $39,951.)
Apart from getting himself elected to office, so that he can suckle from the taxpayers' teat (annual salary $83,074) and do favors for his friends and business associates, what precisely has Mayor Diny accomplished?
Nothing, so far as I can tell.
Trump already swept the city of Wausau in 2016 and 2020, leading by 18 pts in both. So it's not like this publicity stunt is likely to motive even more voters to turn out for Trump in 2024.
And that box is going to wind up right back where it started, as the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled in July that ballot drop-boxes outside of county / city offices were permissible, and the bipartisan Wisconsin Elections Commission issued guidance that the placement of said boxes is at the sole discretion of the municipal clerks, and published a set of best practices concerning their deployment and administration: https://elections.wi.gov/ballot-drop...new-rules-2024
What is *has* done is to create a whole bunch of media coverage which Team Donkey is using to rile up its own fanbase, as further evidence that the Trumpublicans are a menace to society and must be stopped at all costs, which is likely to increase turnout of anti-Republican voters.

My wife was liberal, just not a nut job, but she slowly realized that policies promised to make your life better aren't ever as promised and that it's up to the individual to make their life better. Which is really the most ironic part of being a liberal today. No more individual freedom and no more being a maverick. It's all in on what the machine says needs to happen so that everyone is "equal" but what is really going to happen is that everyone is the "same".
Which brings me to the best bumper sticker I have seen in a while. It wasn't this one but you get the point.
