Cain and the greatest 9 words a politician has ever said

the CEO of Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn, etc. suggests our new health care law is detrimental as well as other regulations.
He wrote this week:
He wrote this week:
“Regulatory mandates flowing from federal health care reform may be the most visible, but the list also includes measures such as new mandatory paid leave provisions that require us to change the way we accommodate employees who need to take time off when they are ill and ever more unrealistic requirements regarding employee meal and rest breaks that, in California for example, force our employees to take breaks in the middle of serving lunch or dinner.
...
The difficult reality is that neither our shareholders nor our customers — who are of course, the very working people policymakers champion — can afford the cost of the unbridled increase in regulation we’re experiencing.”

Big shot CEO that makes lots of money and makes even more if he can employ even more people who work hard at poverty levels of income for him and make sure those employees will have little opportunity to be anything in life but a low paid worker makes statement on the role of government.
His statements are thinly masked as being for small government and deregulation. His interests are far from that.
Which person do you think would be less fascist?
1) CEO who jumped around between boards of directors of several large corporations, worked for the federal reserve bank, and with connections to government, bankers, and large corporations and has a psychopathic need for greed, he now wants to run the government.
2) Constitutional law professor and community organizer.
Campaign finance in this country has become a serious issue. The giant corporations fund whoever is in charge to buy influence regardless of party. And the Right wing supreme court we have made it even worse with the citizens united case. There isn’t a single republican working to fix this rather they will be blocking any efforts to make the country less fascist.

I think Laurence Britt does a pretty good job of describing the characteristics of fascism. While true fascism is Totalitarian its characteristics line up quite nicely with the current I will call it right wing populist movement. you are being duped if you think the march towards fascism of our nation is a Liberal democratic idea.

Yep, our most fascist administration in the last 100 or so years anyway was George W. Bush. The evidence and examples are staggering.
Obamas failure so far is not reversing course enough.
Of the current candidates that have the biggest potential to revers our march to fascism I would have to say it is hands down Ron Paul. I just don’t agree with a large amount of his Ideology of how.

Wouldn’t be a bad guess for most fascist of current candidates. His economic recovery plan includes making the tax rate on income for billionaires 0% with no tax on inheritance so heirs can continue on as the ruling class and never pay the taxes required for the protections and disproportionate rewards they receive from a civilized society.

I see what you mean about Paul, but he doesn't seem to check all the boxes, correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't seen:
4. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism
5. Rampant sexism
6. A controlled mass media <--- This would be hard to pull off since the media doesn't like Paul
7. Obsession with national security
8. Religion and ruling elite tied together
>10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.<
12. Obsession with crime and punishment
13. Rampant cronyism and corruption
14. Fraudulent elections <--- Another one that would be hard to pull off.
I had no idea about that. At first I didn't like Newt, now he scares me.

But yea Newt wants Capital gains tax to be zero. Most all income that bilionairs make is listed as capital gains on their income tax returns currently taxed at just 15% versus the 15.3% payroll plus whatever income tax that working people pay. Add to that 0% inheritance tax and rich heirs can continue to make money living like leaches on the backs of productive people without ever contributing anything other than capital obtained by owning the proceeds of other peoples productivity. The currently low capital gains tax has done nothing to stimulate the economy or create jobs It has only served to inflate stock market bubbles, add to the debt, and make the rich richer. Newt wants to turn that **** to 11, Mitt's about the same.
