Just wanted to update this thread. First of all, Thanks again to everyone!
The shooter was indicted yesterday. Glad to see this is not getting swept under the rug. Now just a waiting game for the lawyer who will surely drag his feet on this and prolong the process as long as possible. But at least the a-hole will see some fines and jail time. Cheers!

That's great to hear! I've got a boxer/pit-mix rescue and she's the sweetest thing in the world, the thought of some a-hole shooting her if she ever got out is enough to make me go crazy. I'm also an "assault" rifle owner, and while I believe in the right to own a firearm, the fact this guy decided to dig out his AK and go searching for these dogs that weren't doing anything, rather than find the dogs owner and let him know his animals had gotten loose speaks volumes about his mentality and it's the kind that shouldn't own firearms.
