I'm looking at buying this. It has a/c. What are everyone's fair price estimate? To me, i'm around $9,000 cash price.

I always get sad when people say their miata gets lots of comments. I've only had one person compliment me on my car, and that was the first day I owned it, driving down from oregon, some fat mexican kid told me he liked my car.

Are there any comparables that I can show the guy? I remember seeing a black built engine with race seats NA a while back, I think it sold for $11,000 or $9,000.

AEM Box looks to be the wideband controller. AEM to use to sell controllers without the gauge.

Also I would sell my turbo NA for like 5500. Has A/C, MSPNP with BEGi kit.

So I think that asking price is a little high. I think for his car 9k would be fair. Just IMO

I could see $10k with some cleanup work... Not impressed with interior and engine bay, but everything else ticks the right boxes.

Not that this should be used as any indication for what the car is worth. $6k is really light for this car.

Most used, heavily-modified cars are that way, this is no exception.

$9k seems probably about right, or a little bit high. Link ECU is very outdated, you need a 6-speed transmission if you're going to make any more power, needs seats and harnesses and reroute for track work. It also sounds like when they built the motor, they did the muscle car stuff instead of the track car stuff. Should have bought a BE pump instead of wasting money on cams...

also they're using injectors from the 80's
that won't even support 300whp

It's basically a car I'd build 10 years ago.

There are some part I missed that would move me closer to $7K. But as soon as I bought that I'd want a BB turbo, better injectors, better ECU, better shocks/springs, and better seats.

I'm also not factoring in the HT.

he should wash that thing before he posts ads for sale, that would bump me up even more. it seriously looks old and tired.
