Default For Sale - 99 10AE Hardtop - Nitrous/TEC-IIIR/BEGi Stage V

I am supposed to pick this up from BEGi next week, car has about 30k miles on it. It needs some TLC but has all the good bits you would want at a substantial discount off what all this would cost you if you tried to put it together yourself.

1999 10AE Miata
6 speed
3.636 Torsen
TEC-IIIR Computer
GREDDY Boost Controller
1600cc/min injectors
Setup for E85 (Dual Tanks 24 gallon total fuel capacity)
Aluminum Ron Davis radiator (FM)
Fully built 1999 motor 8500 RPM redline
Upgraded dual valve springs, shim under buckets, Ti retainers
9:1 compression, Forged Pistons and aftermarket rods - 1985cc
EDM Billet oil pump gears
BEGi Stage 5 Custom Turbo System
Tial Wastegate
Stainless 3" Exhaust
FM Big Brake Kit (Cross Drilled and Slotted)
Mazdaspeed coilover suspension
Harddog HCDDHT Rollbar
BEGi Intake
Wet direct port Nitrous system Jets for a variety of settings.
Falken Azenis
Mazdaspeed Type F seats
T3/T4 50 trim
ACT Clutch (XTSS)
Fidanza Flywheel
and more stuff that I am probably forgetting.

$12.5k (or best offer above that.)

Sitting in Corkys shop if you want to inspect it. If I bring it back to DC the price will go up. Shipping is not included. This car will make in excess of 300 RWHP at 15 PSI of boost on Texas pump gas. Initial untuned run made 296 RWHP on Texas Premium.

Must Sell, need house Down Payment Money - No Trades.

I am considering parting it out... I would make a whole lot more money that way.

Man this sucks, seems like everyone is either selling off their car or being rear-ended lately.

It's capable of 400 with the compressor it has... Remember the Juice is good for 100 HP easy.

$12.5k will get you an extended test drive. I will be happy to take people out in it when I get there.

Mark,

The car only has 30K miles on it? Wow! What is the "TLC" that the car needs? Will it be tuned and sorted for me, I mean the new owner? Could you email me with additional pictures?

Thanks,
David

Just to clarify, the dyno plot is for the untuned car? Do you have one that shows the final setup?

Yes, that was untuned without nitrous. It was also with a smaller 2.5" exhaust but the same turbo. I expect it to make a little more power fully tuned (possibly a lot more power with the E85, since I can really advance the timing with E85.) I also have some alternate camshafts that I could include with the car, if 300+ RWHP is not enough. Seriously, this is an easy 400 RWHP Miata, it made over 250 RWHP at 10 PSI.

I won't have a final dyno until I get out there and can get it dyno'd, still this is one bad *** car that will light the tires up at freeway speeds.

It's got some chips in the paint and the hardtop is a little faded. It needs a new soft top because there are two small rips in it. It could use the side latches for the hardtop as well since I never got those. Stupid stuff like that.

I would anticipate that the car would be tuned and sorted before it leaves BEGi's doors. The only question is how high of a boost level it will be tuned for and if I will have time to get the nitrous fully sorted. I may leave the nitrous tuning up to the new owner... correct jetting will be installed though.

I can't get much in the way of additional pictures since I am in DC and the car is in TX. The car has not had an easy life but has always been well taken care of.
